compro un ASUS A636N

È un palmare con dentro tutto. o quasi. non ha il telefono. pero' ci gira skype per pocketPC e anche SJphone (un software gratis per usare la telefonia VoIP con molti provider. l'ho provato con www.messagenet.it (molto bravi !!) e Skypho (una iniziativa di eutelia, ma cosa diavolo hanno pensato scegliendo quel nome. comunque funziona benissimo).
peccato che il GPS con l'applicazione che voglio (OziCE la versione per palmare di OziExplorer) non ne voglia sapere di vedere il GPS.

I tried the following but NO GPS device...

I tried using 'Other NMEA GPS' with GPS baud rate 115200 on COM2.
I tried using 'Other NMEA GPS' with GPS baud rate 115200 on COM1.
I tried using 'Tomtom Wireless GPS'
I tried using 'Tomtom Cable GPS'
I can't seem to get my GPS working... what have I done wrong?
please help.

Try the following settings:
Program Tab: (none)
Hardware Tab: (none);
Baud rate: 4800
Access Tab: checked.
In TomTom select "Other NMEa GPS", baud rate 4800 on COM5.
This should work, even with a higher baud rate.

cioè in sostanza: cambiando un po' a caso la configurazione delle porte reali e virtuali del GPS, alla fine funziona. (specialmente se il software cerca il GPS sulla porta COM:5)
ed è così.
